Expeditor Position Expectation

The Expeditor works daily to support operations, reporting to the Camp Manager no less than daily. Expeditors will work throughout the Operation to meet the day-to-day needs whether in Camp or in town. This includes errands, supply preparation, loading and unloading supplies and completing reporting initiatives. Expeditors may be assigned different duties on any given day at the Office Manager, Camp Manager or General Manager’s discretion.

The Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the Company’s waste management objectives including pumping, transferring, reporting, mitigating and that barrel maintenance is properly executed.  The Expeditor is assigned special tasks and assists with reservations, guest relations, and office administration as needed.

Expeditors need to develop required skills and serve as a leader, mentor, and coach. Expeditors must maintain a positive attitude and outlook toward the Crew, Guests and Employees of TEMSCO Helicopters at all times. The Expeditor is responsible for mitigating and following up on Guest issues and Crew Workers’ Comp reporting and collecting and supplying associated paperwork.

Expeditors continually solve problems as they arise and function as troubleshooters, resolving issues before they can have a negative effect on operational efficiency. Expeditors ensure proper operations through daily and weekly reporting, Dog Camp – Dispatch – Management Communications, vehicle and equipment inspections and supply procurement and inventories. Expeditors are encouraged to suggest new products and / or services for the betterment of operations.

Chain of Command

Expeditors report directly to the Camp Manager. The Camp Manager reports to the Base Manager, who reports directly to the Ownership Team. Should a situation arise that an Expeditor feels uncomfortable in approaching the Camp Manager, the Employee should address their concerns to the Office or Base Manager. All other Expeditor questions, comments and concerns must adhere to the chain of command.
