Photographer Responsibilities

The Photographer ensures that customer service delivery is of a uniform and high standard. Guest concerns, questions and / or complaints are addressed immediately; the Photographer brings all guest issues to the Tour Musher and / or Manager’s attention and remains in close contact during resolution and follow up.

All employees are responsible for the protection and proper use of Gold Rush equipment and foster a culture of safety promoting the application of associated Personal Protection Equipment Requirements.

All employees are responsible for ensuring quality standards and maintaining a superior working environment. Employees are encouraged to present suggestions for enhancing the safety of fellow Team Members, Guests, and Dogs, or ideas for streamlining procedures. Employees will assist in maintaining all necessary external (customer, vendor, and trade) relationships, consistent with the objectives, operating philosophy and desired image of Gold Rush Dog Tours, LLC.

The Photographer ensures that wasted and non-productive time is eliminated, continually identifying areas to improve service, performance and dog related objectives. Maintaining a positive attitude and dedication to productivity, the Photographer accomplishes assigned work and makes decisions in a timely manner.

While guests are departing, all present and available employees acknowledge departing Guests by waving to exiting vehicles.

Facilitating the Point-of-Sale Photo Program, the Photographer is responsible for capturing the action image, printing, and preparing the photo for sale, presenting, and selling the photo, and maintaining Point of Sale accounting, inventory, equipment, and supplies.

Equipment and supplies include digital cameras, accessories, photo printers, printer ink, photo paper, retail cards, and bags. Inventory includes tracking the physical numbers of pictures printed, sold, on-hand retail cards (inventory control), ink and paper supply. Point of Sale accounting requires tracking sales, collecting payment, issuing change, preparing the deposit, and reconciling daily photo transactions.

The Photographer will document daily camp life and operations throughout the day for social media and marketing applications.
