The guest cost alone dictates a level of professionalism not found in traditional tourism. Couple the cost with the safety considerations inherent in remote operations, kennel tours and dog cart rides and you can see why we demand the level of guest attentiveness that we do.
As a professional, you are expected to present yourself in a clean and friendly manner with a well-groomed appearance and company uniform visible to guests. You are to make yourself 100% available to the guest, displaying availability through verbal and nonverbal cues.
As a member of a team, you are expected to work in harmony with coworkers in the delivery of a seamless guest experience. It is the policy of Gold Rush Dog Tours, LLC to prohibit the use by all employees of inappropriate and vulgar language and gestures, cell phones, digital music players, chewing tobacco, alcohol, cigarettes, and e-cigarettes within earshot, eyesight, and wind of guests during tour hours; enforced by the Camp Manager.
A successful employee adapts their approach and delivery to the individual guest through flexibility. However, the experience itself is to remain consistent across the visitor spectrum.
